I have always found it difficult to find labels and descriptors for myself that I am satsisfied with.
Of all the things that I respect in a person, the first and formost is their humanity, their innate humaness. This is what keeps my hope for humankind alive, it is our greatest spark, which resides even in the most tiresome people. I always try to be honest with people I respect. Ultimately, we determine our identity in dialogue with others, in the way our actions and words flow across and effect objects, ideas and people. What then, am I like? Well then, to say it honestly, I am continously working this out.
Probably the most difficult aspect of myself to figure out is the one from some one that observes you regularly but with which you never converse. What do I look like to the passerbys at University? What generalisations do I generate for the man at subway? What do the quiet ones in tutes think of me? What are the shallower, first or early impressions of me like?
